From shooting top-notch videos to directing blockbusters including The Wedding Party, Kemi Adetiba has paid her dues. Now, the director of King of Boys, which premiered recently, has shared her success tips.

In an outlandish advisory on social media, she said: “Don’t do a non-comedy film, they don’t sell in this country. Don’t make your lead character a woman; it will put people off! Don’t do a film with over 50 per cent of the dialogue in Nigerian language; it won’t work.
