 The Kebbi state chapter of   Football Association (FA) has expressed it delight over the debut of the Nationwide League One(NLO), host by  the state.

 Chairman of the association, Alhaji Abubakar Chika Ladan stated this while speaking with newsmen at the FIFA stadium, venue of the NLO where various clubs from different states in the Northwest zone are currently participating.

   He said: “so far, all the activities are going well on as planned. This is the second day. Organizer came from Abuja and we FA here collaborate with them to make the event a successful one.

  “This is a good omen for us because this stadium was constructed by the FIFA to assist us in the development of the Northwest. So, this is part of how development would take place in the zone by bringing so many teams to participate in the league so that home teams would learn and know what is expected from them if they are to participate in a competition outside the state.

    “It is a good thing that NFF recognized this center among the centers where this league is being playing concurrently across the country. The winner of this zone will meet winner of another zones.  And the winner will be promoted to the professional league”.

  Ladan disclosed that to make the officiating fair, officiating officers were invited from Sokoto and Zamfara states to ensure proper application of rules and discipline.

  He expressed optimism that best team will emerged from the league one which will be representing the state at the professional league.
