…new Comptroller ask smugglers to stay away from Kebbi

The Comptroller of Kebbi State Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service(NCS) Dr. Ben Oramalugo has bowed out from the service as Mr. Hussaini Ahmed Bello assumed office as the new Comptroller of the Command.

Acting Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Area Command,Mubarak Mustapha
Assistant Superintendent of Customs II, confirmed this development in a statement made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.

He stated that,the out going Comptroller ,Dr. Ben Oramalugo while handing over the mantle of leadership to the new Comptroller,thanked everyone especially sister agencies for their support.

According to him, “the new comptroller of Customs, kebbi Area command Hussaini Ahmed Bello fsi,fcss posted to Kebbi State has thrown a note of warning to smugglers to avoid the State or prepare to regret their actions.

” He gave the warning on his resumption of duty to the area command. The new customs Sherrif, solicits the maximum support and cooperation of the state Government, Sister Agencies, the Traditional Institutions and Officers and Men of the Command in order to discharge his responsibilities efficiently and effectively”.

Mustapha explained that, the new Comptroller hails from Gombe Town in Gombe state, a graduate of the Bayero University Kano with Master in Public Policy and Administration.

” He also served at various Area Commands in different capacities Such as TinCan Inland port Lagos, Kano Area Command, Murtala Muhammad International Airport among others, before his deployment to the Kebbi Area Command”.

He added that, guests at the ceremony presented gifts to the outgoing Comptroller especially heads of security agencies in the state, in recognition of his collaboration and support with all security agencies in Kebbi State.
