N’Golo Kante has confirmed he considered quitting Chelsea in the summer amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Leicester City midfielder was instrumental in the success the Blues enjoyed under the management of Antonio Conte, winning the Premier League and FA Cup in the last two seasons.
Kante also played a starring role in France’s World Cup winning campaign which prompted the Ligue 1 giants to register their interest in Chelsea midfield linchpin.

The 27-year-old admits he considered returning to his homeland and even held talks with PSG before opting to commit to Maurizio Sarri’s project.
‘There was not a big desire on my side to go elsewhere after the World Cup,’ he said. ‘There was interest from other clubs, but after speaking with Chelsea, things were clear.
‘The club is counting on me and I feel good here. What was logical therefore was to stay at Chelsea. ‘There were some discussions with PSG.
But after a discussion with Chelsea I understood that what was most important was to feel good where I was. ‘I feel good at Chelsea. It is good for me to stay at Chelsea.’
