Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced fresh moves to reposition the party ahead of future political challenges in the state.

This was part of the resolutions of the party’s stakeholders meeting held in Abuja at the weekend and presided by the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Chairman House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) and Muhammad Garba, Chief of Staff to APC National Chairman, the party resolved to keep its doors open to new members.

 

 

The meeting expressed commitment to continue to pursue the path of dialogue with individuals, associations or political parties ready to join the APC

It resolved to convene an elaborate stakeholders’ meeting in Kano with a view to strategizing on how to further unite the party for enhanced development.

 

The oarty announced plans to set up various committees that will chart a new course for the party’s activities while

appreciating its members for their maturity, support and patience during the period of the legal battle with the opposition party.

 

It appealed to its members to remain calm and await the outcome of the expanded stakeholders meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 25, 2024.

 

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin; APC gubernatorial candidate, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and running mate, Murtala Sule Garo, including the Minister of State Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo and the Minister of State Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mariya Mahmud Bunkure.
