Japan Tobacco International Nigeria (JTI) has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering excellence, innovation, and equity among its global workforce.

The company gave this assurance in commemoration of the 2024 International Workers Day celebration. 

Aligned with this year’s theme of “Social Justice and Decent Work for All,” JTI Nigeria underscores its pledge to “cultivating a working environment that enables brilliant people to be creative, nurture the best possible culture that embraces diversity and individual development thereby allowing them to reach their full potential.”

The General Manager of JTI Nigeria, Thomas Adams noted that by championing talent management, equitable rewards, and empowerment initiatives, the company with presence in over 130 countries aims to maintain its status as an employer of choice in at least 60 locations annually, setting ambitious sustainability targets.

He revealed that the cornerstone of JTI Nigeria’s commitment to inclusivity is its dedication to gender equality. Through initiatives like TogetHER, an Employee Resource Group (ERG), the company provides a platform for women’s empowerment and equal opportunities.
