Re: When python goes dancing
Your masterpiece: “When python goes dancing”, I have stored the page of the newspaper in my wardrobe; thank you for being reasonable and realistic. +2349086059751
The most important investment the Igbo have is their head, which they will go with. The Igbo do not hate the other tribes but it is obvious they don’t reason alike and cannot stay together in peace to engender development. When will the bloodletting abate? You saw the outcome of the recent police recruitment. What was it about? If the Igbo go, they will still be one of the most populated countries in Africa. There are so many small countries. As for those protesters being killed,
Kanu did not send them. They were protesting his incarceration. In any event, the protests have abated, at least, for now. I have a friend, who has been investing in the South East in the last five years and have the bulk of his wealth in the South East. The ones outside are collateral. The ones that yield the wealth. Not all can be like him. There will always be fools.

Tony, I am so impressed with your well-thought write up, captioned: When python goes dancing. Ndigbo need wisdom of Solomon now we face the most threat of our life. Biafra as ideology will never die but we need to tread with caution. The children of Israel thrived in exile in Egypt because of love and unity. Onye ndi iro gbara gburugburu na eche ndu ya nche mgbe n’ile.

Tony, let me salute you on your write-up, when python goes dancing. I cannot be Biafra but I smypathise with them because it’s ungodly to force one to remain where he is being killed at will. What language is Biafra and the meaning? I salute you for your home truth to your people. If you ask them for the map of Biafra, they do not have. Regards. -E.A. Ashibogu +2348026168834
I don’t think you are right for calling Igbo leadership abroad arrant nonsense. The Igbo are by nature Diaspora people, working all over the world. They need such leaders wherever they are. -James, Enugu, +2347038433960
Where do you belong? Double tongue; it’s because many of you believe in this fraudulent unity that they deal with you anyhow. Do you know what is self-determination? You are happy with Nigeria.

Tony, you leave Biafra agitators with their selfish or whatever imperfection. Kudos to them and avengers; the Igbo would have been totally humiliated by the current Federal Government with their five per cent votes ideology. Where are our coward-politicians? -+2348038428311 I
It’s most unfortunate fifth columnist like you’ll insult your father’s institution “the Igbo Race”. Have you ever seen a Yoruba man, casting aspersion on OPC or a Hausa/Fulani man, insulting their people despite what they do? I’ve lived in the UK for many years but I’ve not seen an English man insult his race. Tony, I HATE YOU. +2347081532583
NB: Columnists write from personal, deep convictions. However, they receive both brickbats and applause all the time but that is the elixir that propel them. Unfortunately, sometimes, it hurts to see deep seething rage flowing from crass misunderstanding or uninformed conclusions, especially when the critic’s views come under threat.
In the article under reference, Igbo leaders or tradition were never described as arrant nonsense. Rather my take was and still is, that those prancing about as Eze Ndi Igbo in the Diaspora are rubbishing the Igbo tradition. No one has faulted me on that; it is not part of our culture.
As for the boastful ‘UK returnee’ who hates me, though I love him; I am better off with the hatred of such a character while we celebrate him for having lived in the UK; such a great and noble achievement, or isn’t it? For me, I remain hardcore Igbo and will never disparage my roots. I will always stand for the Igbo cause and against it being messed up by voodoo leaders.
The Nigerian Army may dance with the python for as long as it desires; it may ambush and constrict the Igbo to death like the python but it can never swallow the Igbo whole.  The Igbo never slump; we die standing, on our feet.
Re: Sharia, the ominous cloud
My brother Tony, Your piece, “Sharia, the ominous cloud” made an interesting reading and one cannot but thank you for that. The worst onslaught of the enemies against Ndigbo was the last minute division of the region between the PDP/APC blocs during the 2015 general elections. Now led by owl-blind leaders, the once great and proud people are today hewers of wood and drawers of water in a country they laboured so much to build. The present ugly situation now makes it imperative for all progressive elements in Igbo land to come together and chart a new course toward liberating our people from the hands of charlatans, who masquerade as Igbo leaders. -Pastor Nick Chibunna-Owerri, Imo State, +2347058468780
Thank you so much for your write-up on Sharia, the ominous cloud. It’s very unfortunate that Christian lawmakers allowed such disastrous bill to reach this stage. Buhari has succeeded in destroying Nigeria’s unity, democracy, economy etc. The reckoning day is coming. More grease to your elbow.

Re: Aso house of demons
Aso House of Demons! Tony this is powerful. If you break the hedge, the serpent comes in and bites. Your sins have found you out – you have placed a curse on yourself. You have ruined Nigeria – you will surely die, because you refused to repent! You took the demons, you invited them, you made covenant with it – now they have multiplied. Yes, demons are everywhere, they enter on invitation, but you can repent and come to Jesus – in Spirit and in Truth, to be delivered. -Col. RN Oputa Rtd, +2348033206191
Thank you, Tony, for that very beautiful piece – Aso House of demons. Reuben may have right to his opinion but we cannot be deceived. The Reuben I know should know and even do better. I smell a ploy to cover up ineptitude while in office and prepare a defence incase of expected day of reckoning. +2348062281844
