ISIS thugs have warned of World Cup attacks in posters depicting the execution of Argentine superstar Lionel Messi.

The Barcelona forward is shown in an orange jumpsuit, kneeling before a masked jihadist near the centre circle of a packed stadium in Russia.

In the foreground, a bearded extremist can be seen with a suicide bomb connected to a trigger button. A caption urges fanatics to be ‘ready and steady for the season of hunting is soon’.

Separate propaganda images show a militant examining a screen showing World Cup venues – dubbed ‘targets’ for lone-wolf jihadists.

A third shows a militant carrying a bomb on to a football field through flames while a final poster simply says ‘kill them all’.

The mocked-up image are the latest in a near constant stream of ISIS threats against the World Cup in recent weeks.

In May, fanatics threatened to behead both Messi and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo in sickening posters.

The two superstars were shown in a mocked-up image pinned down on the pitch in a packed stadium with knife-wielding jihadists hacking at their necks.

Above the picture, released on Telegram by a pro-ISIS group, a chilling caption warned ‘the ground will be filled with your blood’.

A second poster showed a militant carrying what appears to be an explosive device in to a stadium. It comes with the message: ‘Fifa World Cup Russia 2018 – victory will be ours’.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is being played across 11 cities in Russia until July 15, when the final will be played at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
