Super Eagles forward, Isaac Success has expressed his satisfaction after ending a one-year scoring drought in Udinese’s 1-1 draw against Napoli, as reported by

Success made a significant impact after coming on for Brenner da Silva in the 53rd minute, skillfully controlling Kristensen’s delivery and converting from six yards out in added time.

This marked Success’ first Serie A goal in 379 days, in what was his 25th appearance of the season, during which he also provided one assist. His goal canceled out Osimhen’s opener in the 51st minute.

Reflecting on his journey, Success revealed that he received a lot of encouragement from his teammates during his recovery from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for a couple of games last season. He expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing the unity within the team.

“After the injury Success received a lot of support from his teammates. It’s a united team. We’re like a family and I’ve always been encouraged. In just a few minutes today I was able to help and I hope to continue doing so. We all work for each other,” he said, as quoted in his club’s official page.
