Former Chief of staff to the Imo state government, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has appealed to the organized labour to call off the industrial action in the state to reduce hardship experienced by citizens.

He made the call during a Telephone Interview from Owerri, the Imo state capital.

Ugwumba Nwosu lamented over the experience of black out and its effect on cost of goods and services on residents

“Peaceful resolution is the best option for the labour, Police and state government disputes” he stressed.

Nwosu who further added that shooting of airports and electricity in the state was incurring more hardship on the masses appeal with labour to consider the plights of the poor masses in the state.

On the November 11th governorship election in Imo state, the Former Chief of Staff, also restated that the All Progressive Party, APC will win the election.

The All Progressive Party, APC chieftain insisted that the state is calm and ready to cast their votes.

“Nothing will stop this election from holding. The masses are very ready, let us wait till Saturday and see the decision of the people.”
