Igbo youths under the aegis of the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, (COSEYL) has commended Ohanaeze Worldwide for coming up with review of Ohanaeze Ndigbo constitution, which it noted will reflex the present political and unforseen realities in its constitution .
President General of COSEYL, Goodluck Ibem in a statement he released to newsmen in Owerri on Tuesday maintained that the move by Ohanaeze is the right step in the right direction at this present time.
According to the Igbo youth group, the leadership of Ohanaeze have shown capacity and determination to ensure Ndigbo remains relevant in the scheme of things internationally and Nationally.
He also added “The constitution review exercise will bring to bear solutions and answers to so many questions begging for answers while also positioning Ndigbo for greater productivity and results.
“It takes a visionary and result oriented leadership to come up with such brilliant idea of reviewing the constitution which has lasted for over 20 years.
“We call on all Igbo groups and organisations to support this great step by Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide”.
