Abarie, known formally as Daniel Ifeanyichukwu Okeke, has gradually risen to stardom as one of the most creative and funny talents the comedy industry has experienced.

His comedy career hit a boom in 2021 and he has since then graced some of the biggest comedy stages in Nigeria.

Abarie was born in Lagos but hails from Nnewi in Anambra State. Many are quick to say he came from nowhere and rose to fame but Abarie will always talk about his humble beginning and how achieved the feat now associated with him.

“From selling vegetables to fend for my large family, to being a labourer at different construction sites, I never let my reality then judge my future. Comedy has always been a part of me and even when I was doing hard labour comedy still came freely. On the construction sites, I used to be the most loved cause I made sure everyone had fun while working and on days where I wasn’t around even my foreman on the site would call to ask about my whereabouts,” said the rib cracker.

Shedding light on his upcoming comedy show tagged ‘SO FAR SO GOOD’, Abarie noted that the event which is slated to hold May 5, at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos will feature A-list comedians, musicians, other side attractions. 

“It promises to be all shades of fun and vibe,” he assured.
