Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has adopted four types of models in reforming youths and education in the state.

Chief Obol Okoi Obono-Obla, Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Campaign Council in cross river made the disclosure that while on a one day visit to cross River state indigents in Nasarawa stressed that “The Governor found out that most of the teachers in secondary schools in the State cannot read and write in English language, to solve the problem, he devised four-practical solutions to save the educational sysrem in the State.

“They are: Fabrication Academy in Calabar; Teacher Continuous Training Institute, (TCTI) in Biase; British Canadian University in Obudu and Modern State Polytechnic in Ogoja.” He said

The Politician said that the West African Construction and Fabrication Academy in Calabar trains those who are not gifted intellectually but skilfully to learn fabrication and design.

He said that Governor Ayade built a Teachers’ Continuous Training Institute ( TCTI), in Biase Town for continuous teachers’ education for teachers in the primary and secondary schools.

Chief Obol Okoi Obono-Obla said the administration is about to commission the British Canadian University in Obudu to train gifted young Nigerians locally in professional courses like Law; Medicine, Health Sciences, and Technology.

He said that this University will be a blend of British, Canadian, and Nigerian curricula systems meant to save parent’s huge foreign exchange to send their children abroad to seek for degrees.

Chief Obol Okoi Obono-Obla said that Governor Ayade said the ongoing construction of Modern State Polytechnic in Ogoja is projected to take care of the growth and development of the state of the state in particular and the country in general.

The APC Spokesperson called on the people to avoid lawlessness, abide by the law in their dealings and to protect public infrastructure for the benefit of the future generations.
