In the wake of a surge in emerging artists from the African continent and drawing insights from the recent 66th annual Grammy Awards, Go Africa Dot Radio has embraced a new approach to promoting music. Rather than solely focusing on metrics such as social media engagement or popularity, the platform now prioritises sound quality and production value.

The Grammy Awards faced criticism for acknowledging artists with smaller followings and less mainstream appeal, exemplified by Indian-born Shakti’s win in the Best Global Music Album category over more well-known contenders like Davido and Burna Boy.

In line with this shift, Go Africa Dot Radio has highlighted exceptional talents such as South African-born Starr Healer. Known for her captivating vocals and prowess in Afro House and Afro Tech genres, Starr Healer infuses her soulful voice into pulsating beats, creating an enchanting auditory experience.
