As usual, The Sun Awards 2023 did not fall short of expectations in terms of fashion and style.
Indeed, it was all glamour, fashion and style as the invited guests – men and women, young and old thronged the venue in their finest attire.
Classic, timeless black in dresses and accessories made their ways into the event. Clutch bag has always been a classic and sophisticated accessory, and was seen with some of the beautiful women. Long gowns, native attire, bright colours, all added to the beauty of the event.
Suited Men
Some of the men came in suits. As it is with suit, it adorns one’s personality and makes the person more noticeable. A suit is an outfit that makes any man’s confidence soar. The men in suit at the occasion were looking well put together.
Beaded jewellery
Beaded jewellery has been around over the years. It can make any one stand out as it changes the entire outlook of an outfit.
Kaftan and boubou
Kaftan and Boubou are often popular in women’s wardrobes due to their intricate construction, and beautifully made gowns. Both are elegant pieces of clothing for women. Women all around the continent adore them perhaps as a result of their simplicity. The most interesting thing about the styles are their comfortability for all occasions, all weather and at all times.
Evening gowns
Evening gowns have continued to evolve in the world of fashion. At The Sun Awards, women who appeared in their evening dresses kept up with the latest trends, making stylish statements with statement sleeves, bold colours, floral prints and sheer fabrics. There were ruffle galore, high slits, off-the-shoulder elegance, velvet, and cape drama, all portraying the epitome of style and elegance at the event.
Men’s traditional attire
From traditional outfits like the agbada and dashiki, kaftan, Senator wear, Atiku styles to modern styles, Nigerian men have always had a unique and vibrant sense of style. This unique hand-made clothing is perfect for special occasions, and were elegantly rocked by some of the men at the occasion.
White Angels
From light and flowing sundresses to glamorous formal gowns and men’s outfits, white dresses offer beautiful looks for all occasions
