Ohanaeze chieftain and Chairman, Board of Trustee, Odunade Building Materials Market, Chief Vitus Uzoh has urged electorate to pick up their PVCs before from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the expiration of the deadline.

Uzoh in a statement said the collection of the PVCs was not only civic and patriotic, but also the right tool required to vote in a leader that would meet the socio-economic needs of the people.

While lamenting the hardships resulting from the cashless policy and Naira redesign, Uzoh said Nigerians, especially business owners were made to go through hard times by those who designed and implemented the policy.

The Imo-State born chieftain equally condemned ongoing scarcity of petrol across states of the federation, lamenting how the prices of petroleum products have generally become exorbitant beyond the reach of the average citizens.

Uzoh called on the CBN governor and Federal Government to match words with action by making both the new Naira and petroleum products available to Nigerians to ease the pains and sufferings. 

“I call on the electorate to go to INEC offices across the country and obtain their PVC as it will play a great role in empowering them in entrenching good governance in the country,” he said.
