Eno Unukpo, the Chief Executive Officer of an online shopping platform, Ziingo.com.ng says the channel is revolutionalising online shopping in the country, adding that testimonials from the outlet’s users suggest that it is delivering value as promised.
Unukpo, who said the online shopping system in the country was established to bridge the gap between buyers and sellers, expressed happiness that the innovation is taking the burden off a lot of Nigerians.
Throwing more light on Ziingo.com.ng, Unukpo explained that the company had in the past two years of its establishment been able to build trust in the online shopping community.
She informed that Nigerian online shopping communities especially in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos had started expressing excitement about Ziingo.com.ng soon after it was birthed to deliver prompt general shopping, food and groceries services to its patrons.
She singled out commendations from two of its valued customers James Akeredolu based in Lagos and Audu Maigida from Karu, FCT, and thanked them for their observations.
“Akeredolu who described himself as an online shopping specialist wrote to us saying: ‘I have been shopping online in Nigeria for a long time, but I have not seen prompt delivery as well as pay-as-you-receive operator like Ziingo.com.ng,’ in a special commendation letter to our management, adding that he had also benefitted from the free delivery offered as an incentive to regular shoppers.”
She said on his part, Maigida congratulated Ziingo.com.ng for “changing the face of online shopping in Nigeria with the introduction of same-day delivery for major cities in Nigeria and pay-on-delivery which enhances trust among Nigerians to buy from Ziingo.com.ng.”
She said Maigida disclosed how he never trusted online shoppers in the past because he did not believe they could deliver until a friend of his bought clothes in Lagos and delivered them to him in Karu through Ziingo.com.ng.
She therefore called for trust in the online shopping community in the country, emphasising that it was based on such virtue that the online shopping and delivery system would be perceived as “tested and trusted.”
She urged online shoppers and Nigeria businesses looking to sell online to download Ziingo.com.ng app on playstore and appstore to be part of the family.
