Nigeria’s Flying Eagles bow out of the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina, after conceding in the early minutes of extra time and losing 1-0 to South Korea in the quarter-final game at the Santiago Del Estero.

It was a drab 90 minutes, as both teams failed to create any clear-cut chances or made the most of the half chances during the game. The Flying Eagles got punished for its sloppy defending from a corner kick in the 94th minute after Choi jumped highest in between four players to head the ball past Chijioke Aniagboso in goal. Emmanuel then had a golden chance to make it 1-1 in the 109th minute, but his effort inside the Korean box went just over the woodwork.
