The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has arrested two suspected female traffickers specialising in trafficking children. The suspects, Kulu Dogonyaro and Elizabeth Ojah, were apprehended at Kagini Junction, Abuja, on April 27 while attempting to transport five kidnapped children into the Federal Capital Territory.

Police Public Relations Officer Josephine Adeh announced the arrest, stating, “Operatives of the FCT police command, on April 27, 2024, at about 8:00 p.m., arrested two female suspects, Kulu Dogonyaro and Elizabeth Ojah, in connection with the trafficking of five children.”

The suspects, who attempted to escape arrest from Sokoto police operatives, were intercepted and arrested by FCT police operatives at Kagini Junction, Abuja, while suspiciously conveying five children into the Federal Capital Territory.

In the spirit of collaboration, the FCT police command has handed over the suspects and victims to the Sokoto State police command for further investigation and prosecution.
