The excitement for all football lovers across the globe is palpable as the UEFA Euro 2024 kicks off today with the host country, Germany taking on Scotland in the lone game to be played on Friday by 8 pm.

As Germany seeks to restore the glory of its European Championship titles in 1972, 1980, and 1996, having competed in every EURO since 1972, Scotland’s goals are more modest. Scotland has not only failed to win any of the EUROs but has never progressed beyond the group stage on nine occasions.

However, Scotland’s path to Euro 2024 has been distinguished by determination and resurgence.
