President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to the South West caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to take the mission to rescue Ekiti State seriously so that the party would laugh last after the July gubernatorial election.

The president made the appeal, on Wednesday, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, at a dinner he had with them at the new Banquet Hall.

He said he called for the dinner to claim frayed nerves and to appeal that members work together for the success of the party in the coming elections.

He believed Ekiti State would ultimately benefit if the party wins.

He assured the people of his support and that they should not subvert the will of the people.
