The indefatigable Disc Jockey, DJ Venum, born Aletor Jordan who struts his stuff at Roma Lagos, Bogobiri House and Mainland Block Party as the resident man behind the wheel of steel has released a mixtape of Amapiano sounds superbly tagged “Moist Amapiano Mix” comprising of the genre’s hottest numbers carefully curated for the best party experience.

DJ Venum, who has carved a niche for himself as the undisputed king of mixtapes, packed a gun with fury and positive vibes in the new project which was done in collaboration with Interspace Sound System.

“Amapiano has come to stay in Africa, and Africans and others deserve nothing but the best of the genre which has been put together in this project. It’s a whole menu with all the items served in the grandest way possible,” DJ Venum says of the mixtape.

DJ Venum is currently on top of his game and carefully sailing with the tides to raise the bar as a Disc Jockey not overshadowed by the music stars. He is currently the resident DJ at Roma Lagos, Bogobiri House and Mainland Block Party.

He got the name Venum from a friend during his days as a rapper because of his depth and fierceness.

DJ Venum, who is from Edo State, comes from a musical background. His father is a musician and creative artist who has a residency also at Bogobiri in Lagos. His interest in music started at an early age from watching his dad play at music gigs.

When he is not behind the wheel of steel strutting his stuff, he likes to play basketball and travel.

In secondary school, he was a rapper and a confessed studio rat. At the same time, he developed a keen interest in deejaying. As fate would have it, he was transferred from the studio section at Bogobiri to the deejaying section. This is how his DJ career started.
