In a move to expand its operations and ensure that Nigerians have access to financial services, PremiumTrust Bank, one of Nigeria’s fastest growing banks, recently opened a branch at Redemption City.

With the opening, the bank now has eight branches across the country. Mr. Emmanuel Emefienim, managing director/chief executive officer of the bank, commended the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, who presided over the ceremony, for his continuous support, from inception.

Emefienim, who welcomed guests to the unveiling, said: “I must say with all sense of humility that God has been faithful to us and this is why we give him all the glory for how He has helped us.

“I also sincerely appreciate our father in the Lord, Pastor Adeboye, for being there for us since inception of the bank. I am so excited because the foundation of PremiumTrust Bank was laid on this ground in Redemption Camp.

“The day God laid it in my heart to set up PremiumTrust Bank, I was still an executive director in one of the banks in Nigeria. I was on line in becoming the next managing director but this burden came that I have worked in the bank for almost three decades.

“I put a call across to Daddy GO that I was in the middle of two decisions to make, he sent for me and I met him and he prayed for me and said, my son, go and pursue your banking license, God will give you favour and speed.

“What you see today is the response of the answers to prayers of Daddy GO and from that very day, everything about the bank speaks to favour and speed.”

Emefienim revealed that “the name of the bank was also divinely inspired because, in one of the Holy Ghost services, I was praying and asked God what name I was going to give to the bank and before the service was over, I heard it and when we got our lawyer to go to Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to check availability, it was obvious that this name had already been reserved from the foundation of the earth.
