As the music industry continues to expand and giving room for new acts with burning desire to showcase their talents to the world, famous female DJ, Iwuagwu Ebere Pat Popularly known as “Commissioner DJ Wysei has teamed up with DAW Empire to add more value to her craft.
Also known as the Drummer Queen, the talented entertainer took the entire entertainment industry by surprise when she became the youngest female DJ playing on radio.
Still in her early 20s, she has won several high-profiled awards within and beyond Nigeria even as she hinted that aiming for the peak of her job continues to be a strong motivation for her craft.
Describing herself as an act who isn’t confined to a particular type of music, she noted that her style of play has been labeled by numerous as “magnanimous” because of her ability of getting a wide range of music in one playlist.
One thing that seems to be working in favour of rising act is how she manages infuse drums into her play.
According to her, she has effectively made an exceptional and special brand for herself by carving a niche in the way she drums during performances.
Not quite long ago, she was
named as one of the five effective female DJ’s in Africa by CNN and BBC.
Speaking about joining DAW Empire and what she hopes to bring to the team, she stated that it has always been her dream to work with a brand as dynamic as DAW, adding that the platform’s track record of contributing the success and growth of its numerous artistes encouraged her to get on the deal.
