The Executive Chairperson, Irewolede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), of Ekiti State, Hon (Mrs) Dupe Bakare, has congratulated the Governor of the state, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, on his well-deserved award as the Best Governor of the year 2023, in Community Development, by the Independent Newspaper.
Mrs Bakare, in her congratulatory message signed by the Director of Information, Irewolede LCDA, Mr Tope Obembe, on Saturday, and made available to newsmen, said the award was proof of the Governor’s unwavering commitment, and exemplary leadership among other qualities.
“It is with immense joy that I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji on being honoured with the prestigious Best Governor of the year award by the renowned Daily Independent Newspaper.
“This well-deserved recognition is a testament to your unwavering commitment, exemplary leadership and remarkable dedication to the progress and prosperity of our beloved state.”
According to her, “the award serves as clear evidence that Governor Oyebanji’s tireless efforts and transformative initiatives are not only making a significant impact but are also being duly recognized and appreciated beyond the shores of Ekiti State.”
The council chairperson added, “Governor Oyebanji’s visionary leadership has positively touched every sector of the state’s development, thereby, fostering growth, inclusivity and sustainable progress.”
Mrs Bakare noted that the provision of social amenities like roads, electricity, water, markets and others across the communities in the state will remain evergreen in the memories of indigenes both at home and abroad.
She prayed that Almighty God would continue to keep, protect and sustain the Governor all through.
