Member representing Kaduna South Federal Constituency in the green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim (KERO), has flagged off a 2-kilometer Constituency road project in his Constituency.

The road which started from Kwanan Mai Shayi and expected to terminate at Unguwan Sanusi by Nnamdi Azikiwe bypass, would take less than a month to complete by Balkiss Logistics Service Ltd.

Speaking shortly after the groundbreaking event, the lawmaker said, he was happy to have attracted such an infrastructural development to the area in less than a year in office.

According to him, road anywhere would open up a lot of opportunities for business-minded individuals, quickly added that the road was an access road to the Western bypass and also to a major road that would link to Kasuwan Barci and Kaduna Polytechnic Road.

The lawmaker also flagged off the distribution of palliatives to 1,200 beneficiaries selected from political wards under Kaduna South Federal Constituency.

Addressing the crowd of beneficiaries at a public school space in Tudun Wada Kaduna, the lawmaker said, the gesture was to compliment the efforts of Nigerians on feeding.

He urged those who were saddled with the responsibility of giving one bag (25kg) of rice to targeted beneficiaries without discrimination saying “I am for everybody”.

“Earlier, we began a 2-kilometre road work to ease movement and business. Again, we are giving each one bag (25kg) of rice to support your family.

“This is in addition to the road work we started today. This further demonstrates my commitment to the good people of my constituency and since you are happy about it, I’m also happy.

“However, since I’m for everybody, we will monitor to ensure those who should get, get and in good time too. There should be no discrimination. After the distribution of about 300 bags here, the remaining 900 bags will get to the targeted persons because our target is 1,200 beneficiaries”, he said..
