Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen says he is optimistic that his Italian side can go all the way to the final of the UEFA Champions League and win.
Speaking after at the post match, Osimhen who expressed joy at the brace he scored said that he excitedly to have been part of a historic Napoli side noting that they will take every game step by step.
“I’m glad that we’re getting better with every game and we’re playing as a team. We all need each other and team work is important and that is what is working for us.”
The Italian Serie A side qualified for the quarter-final of the competition for the first time after they overcame German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt over the two legs.
Osimhen again underlined his importance to Napoli when he scored twice in the second-leg tie on Wednesday.
“It feels good, it feels amazing, and it is a huge win. Congratulations to the team for the performance of the whole squad. We want to keep going like this into the next round and we are ready for it.
“I think anything is possible, we have the squad to achieve this dream. Of course, we take it step by step and see what happens”, he said after the game.
