Ms Cynthia Lois Thomsen, President, African Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia (ACCS) on Friday said that the chamber was seeking cooperation with the Federal Government on areas of investment.

Thomsen said at a news conference in Lagos that the chamber was willing to give loans in the renewable energy sector in Nigeria.

“This time, we are just here for business investment in Nigeria.

“We are ready to give some loans in the renewable energy sector.

“Within the coming days, we will be meeting government officials to work out modalities on cooperation,’’ Thomsen said.

The president noted that the chamber was working in various parts of Africa in the area of poverty alleviation.

According to her, all the investments that will take place in Nigeria is to promote jobs and the state.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the ACCS promotes business and investment opportunities between Africa and the Scandinavia.
