The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has celebrated Victor Osimhen, after the forward netted a hat-trick in Nigeria’s 6-0 thumping of Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday, The BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen opened scoring for the Super Eagles in the encounter and netted twice in the second half.

The 24-year-old forward finished the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier as the leading scorer with 10 goals in six (6) matches.

CAF lauded Osimhen in a post on their Twitter now X handle.
