Cardoso High School Old students, Lagos have awarded and celebrated two students, Master Olayemi Musharaof Olamide and Miss Ajudua Esther Ifechukwude, as the best-graduating students in the 2023 West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).
The students were celebrated during the annual End of Year Get together party of the old students tagged ‘’Reunite To Reignite’’.
The event, which was held at Rita Lori Hotel, Surulere, Lagos, attracted many old students from all walks of life.
Addressing the students, Peter Nwogu, President of the association, charged them not to relent in their effort to achieve greater success in life.
To achieve this, he said, “You must be goal-oriented, determined, focused and disciplined. Also, know that life comes in phases. Take each phase as it comes. Peradventure you fail in any way, don’t be afraid to try again.”
The high point of the event was the association’s special tribute to 10 departed members, the swearing-in of new executive members as well as an award of recognition for meritorious service to ex-teachers and members of the alumni.
The event finally came to an end in a climax of fun, dancing, and networking by members.
