Manchester City expects Kyle Walker to be fit for their title showdown with Arsenal on Sunday.

Walker suffered a hamstring injury against Brazil on Saturday and withdrew from the England squad ahead of yesterday’s friendly against Belgium.

But initial scans suggest the injury is not serious and Walker should be fine to start against Arsenal at the Etihad.

Just one point separates Arsenal and City at the top of the Premier League and their clash on Sunday could be crucial to the outcome of the title race.

Walker will continue to be monitored over the coming days, but his fitness would be a major boost for City, who also has a big Champions League quarterfinal with Real Madrid on the horizon.
