Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo has vowed to continue with his impressive form when his side takes on South Africa in a must win encounter of the 2019 African Cup Of Nation qualifying series.

Odion Ighalo, who has netted six goals in the last three AFCON qualifier, vowed to show class in an interview monitored on pay TV, SuperSport.

The 29-year old forward expressed his best is yet to come as his team look forward toward revenging the bitter 2-0 loss it suffers at home against South Africa.

“It is sad we lost our group opener against South Africa in Uyo. It was a shock defeat. We never see it coming. I bet you, the return leg will be tough. I and the rest of the team are in good shape.

“We are lucky we won Libya. Our aim is to qualify. We are now determine. I believe with the form we are now, I see us defeating South Africa at home.

“Our fans are now happy with us. I have been calm after what happen in the World Cup. I took my club form to the national team. I vow to keep scoring more goal for my country just like I normally do in my club.

“Aside being the captain of my club, I still see Nigeria as my source and I am very confidence we shall come for revenge come next month,” he assured.

Super Eagles who are currently leading the group log after gaining maximum point during double-header clash against Libya, will battle South Africa on November 15.
