A Nigerian TV series, “Beyond The Veil” of cultural acclaim, has regained a spot in the top 10 in four countries after the announcement of Season 2.
Initially released in 2023 to critical acclaim, the series directed by Nadine Ibrahim, has seen a resurgence with the confirmation of a June 7th release date for its highly anticipated second season.
Ibrahim said that Season 2 promises to delve deeper into the characters’ back stories and introduce new, thrilling plot twists. ‘The show builds a refreshing narrative that does not shy away from exploring the realities of being a woman.”
She further stated that according to data from Flix Patrol this week, “Beyond The Veil” has climbed to the number 5 spot in Nigeria and Rwanda while also gaining significant traction in Zambia and Ghana where it currently sits at number 9.
Show runner Ibrahim, expressed her gratitude for fans’ continued support. “I am deeply moved and overjoyed to see “Beyond The Veil” climbing back into the top 10 in multiple countries. It is a profound honour to know that our work resonates with so many people and that they have embraced the world and characters we have created.”
Meanwhile, the official trailer for “Beyond The Veil” Season 2 will be unveiled on May 17th on the Naila Media official platforms, followed by the entire season 2 premiere on Prime Video on June 7th this year.
