EACH player of National League side, Go Round FC of Omoku, Rivers State, will pocket half a million if the team beats Premier League side, Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt, today in the Rivers State Federation Cup epic final billed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in the Garden City.

Proprietor and sole financier of the club, Felix Amaechi Obuah, who made the pledge in an exclusive telephone chat, said each member of the technical crew would get N700, 000 should Go Round FC win the final today.

Obuah, who is also Rivers State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), announced more juicy package for the team if it beats Rivers United tomorrow to lift the coveted trophy at stake.

“Victory for Go Round FC against Rivers United on Sunday (today) is a done deal because Go Round FC is clearly the best club in Rivers State at the moment,” declared Obuah, popularly known as Go Round.

Each goal scored by Go Round today will attract N200, 000.00. And if they beat Rivers United, each player will get N500, 000.00 while each member of the technical crew will receive N700, 000 and the Supporters Club, one million naira.

If they lift the trophy on Sunday, Go Round FC will go on a training tour of Dubai. Before the tour, the player and officials will spend two nights at the prestigious Krisdera Hotel and Suits in Omoku in addition to a lavish reception party for the team.

Obuah expressed confidence that the forthcoming National League season would be the last for the Go Round FC as he predicted that the club would gain promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
