Blakkroot Entertainment’s singer, Chinemerem Victoria aka B-Voca, has proved that her debut single, Owo Ni Koko released on July 14, 2023 was not a fluke, as her debut EP, If Colour Was A Person released on May 12, 2024 has continued to garner rave reviews both online and offline.
The new project is a 5-tracker that showcases B-Voca’s talent and versatility.
With catchy and relatable lyrics, memorable beats, and B-Voca’s soothing vocals, each track has a unique story behind it. Starting with Peace, the artiste went on to describe how important music is to her, making it her only solace.
Next is Eat and Enjoy, which talks about the struggles of life and how they never end. The track also talks about the essence of food in a comical way. This is followed by Egwu, which she delivered in Igbo language. The song is an affirmation of her unstoppable grace. Up next is Kole, a vibe, which from the beat to the lyrics, talks about how much time one needs to relax and have fun.
B-Voca started music from a very young age; hence the full understanding of music and how it works is not a new thing to her. She burst onto the music scene with Owo Ni Koko in July 2023, and this received rave reviews and established her as a rising star in the Nigerian music industry. She’s poised to capitalize on that momentum and win over even more fans with her unique sound and style.
