On many occasions, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), has consistently gone above and beyond to support the enhancement of the internal security mechanisms for the nation via the Nigeria Police. As a member of the LSSTF, his insights, expertise, and unwavering commitment have helped shape and implement crucial security initiatives in Lagos State, setting a benchmark for other regions to follow.

In recognition of that, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun at the recently held annual Conference and Retreat of Senior Police Officers in Owerri, Imo State, bestowed on Ogunsan the Nigeria Police ‘Distinguished Service Award’.
