From Latest Dada, Osogbo

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has boasted that he was the only person that challenged and rivaled the street credibility of former governor Rauf Aregbesola in the state’s politics.

He described Aregbesola as a ‘phenomenon’ whose tremendous experience and credibility remained unrivaled in the history of the state.

Speaking at the 67th birthday party of Aregbesola at Adebimpe event center, Osogbo, on Saturday, Adeleke who was represented by the secretary to the state government, Teslim Igbalaye, assured Aregbesola that he will complete all his projects abandoned by his predecessor.

He said, “On this occasion of your birthday, I am happy to report to you that our government is completing many projects you initiated that were abandoned by your predecessor. From roads to housing projects, we are building on your legacy of expanding the infrastructural base of Osun State.

“We adopted the only sane route of government as a continuum. We are convinced that service to the State should be a continuous process of additions and expansion except where modifications are necessary. We can affirm that your legacy remains indelible and sustainable under our administration and beyond.
