Key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South East, including the National Vice Chairman and State Chairmen, have welcomed the appointment of Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, as coordinator for the region.

They said this move signifies a strategic step by the APC to enhance its presence and influence in the South East.

They noted that Uzodimma’s designation as one of the six coordinators overseeing APC affairs across the country underscores the party’s commitment to fortifying its support base nationwide.

The APC State Chairmen pledged unwavering allegiance and support to Uzodimma, commending the national leadership for recognizing his pivotal role in transforming the APC into a prominent political force in the South East.

In a joint congratulatory message endorsed by the National Vice Chairman (South East) Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu and Anambra State Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, on behalf of the five South East State Chairmen, they lauded Uzodimma’s appointment as a testament to his widespread acceptance and popularity across diverse segments of the region’s populace.

The leaders highlighted Governor Uzodimma’s profound grasp of the region’s social and political dynamics, coupled with his exceptional ability to mobilize support for the party.

They expressed confidence that under his leadership, the APC will secure governorship and legislative control in the South East, as well as garner a significant majority of seats in the National Assembly from the region in the upcoming elections.

Describing Uzodimma as a charismatic and proactive leader, the State Chairmen urged all APC members in the South East to prepare for the challenges ahead, emphasizing the pivotal role played by the Governor in enhancing the party’s standing in the region.

Furthermore, the Party leaders called upon the other Zonal Coordinators to emulate Uzodimma’s approach to foster widespread acceptance of the APC across all six geopolitical zones and the entire nation.
