The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the APC Progressives Governors will, tomorrow, hold the first strategic meeting of the year, at the  party’s headquarters in Abuja.

The consultative meeting, according to a source at the national secretariat, will discuss the 2019 general elections time table and schedule of activities released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) last week.

The source further disclosed that the meeting will, also, fix a possible date for the party’s much-postponed national convention and congresses slated for earlier this year.

“As you know, this will be the first consultative meeting and, therefore, it is not clear whether the National Assembly members will be in attendance. But, the meeting will be attended by the governors as other strategic issues regarding the APC winning the 2019 general elections would be discussed,” he said.

Meanwhile, APC has assured Nigerians that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration remains committed to ensuring that citizens luve peacefully and go about their normal daily activities.
