Speaking to Saturday Sun on the reasons for organising the pageant, Mrs. Jane Odoh William, president, Free Image Entertainment, said: “Our mission is to instill self-confidence and respect in the girl child through a pageantry aimed at preparing her for responsible adulthood. The pageant also aims to inculcate values that can be adhered to, as they grow older, leaving a long lasting impression on them. It’s a platform for the girl child to shine in the society and raise awareness about change, bringing developmental policies in line with the needs of our community. The purpose of the pageant is to re-educate the minds of the future generations. It encourages them to think on a higher level through several competitions including discipline, creativity and fashion design.”

However, William has affirmed that Annabella would embark on a pet project that will focus on the elderly.
