This year’s edition of Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) kicked off on a brighter note on February 20 with the call for entry, which the organisers said received a considerable number of entries.
Speaking on the awards, the Executive, Head of Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice Nigeria, Busola Tejumola, said the 9th edition of AMVCA would be a three-day event, starting from May 18 to May 20, 2023, the grand finale.
“Thursday has been slated for the Cultural Night, which would be followed by three events on Friday: Content Creators/Young Producers Day, Runway Show and Nominee Gala night, while the award ceremony itself will hold on Saturday May 20, 2023,” she disclosed.
While assuring that this year’s AMVCA will focus on fashion and lifestyle with the aim of promoting African’s beauty, Tejumola said the unveiling of nominees comes up on April 9.
