He said their speeches were primarily on the productivity of their states including agriculture modernization.
Governor Alia stressed that he was strictly looking for the expansion of agriculture and agro businesses as well as processing industries for the benefit of farmers and also for the benefit of the state.
He said their second meeting was with the United Nations under the leadership of Ambassador Amina Muhammed who particularly got a lot of interest in Benue having understood how backward the state has been, and discussions were centered on how to bring more development to their states.
The Governor added that the pivot of their entire visit to the United States dwelled much on addressing issues of insecurity in the 19 states of northern Nigeria.
He thanked Benue people for their prayers and best wishes for him, assuring them of his commitment to deliver good governance to the state under the platform of the APC.
