Former Minister of State for Education, Kenneth Gbagi has described the late Prince Bola Ajibola as the finest human being Nigeria has ever produced.

Prince Ajibola, a former Judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at the Hague, Netherlands, died on Sunday at 89.

In a statement, Gbagi who is the Delta State governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP), commiserated with family members, friends and associates of the late legal luminary, who defined his life with kindness, charity and service to humanity.

The statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Kenneth Orusi, described the late Ajibola as a very disciplined and industrious gentleman who inculcated the values of hard work and patriotism in those around him.

“Prince Bola Ajibola, as you know, is one of the finest human being Nigeria, has ever produced,” he stated.

The former chairman, Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, recalled that he got
acquainted with the deceased between 1986 and 1987, “as the then Managing Director of GEEKOS Security Nigeria Limited.”

He noted that at that time, the present vice president Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and Hauwa Kalu were doing their internship with the late Prince Bola Ajibola, as Minister for Justice.

“Prince Ajibola was exceptionally a great man and it is on that note that I plead with Allah, to grant him a bosom resting place.

“Nigeria has lost a great human being. To get one like him today, is extremely difficult,” the statement added.
