Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, yesterday, announced the appointment of his nephew, Tunji Adeleke Jnr, and the former chairman of the defunct faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rasaq Salinsile as board chairmen.

Salinsile, ally of former Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, was appointed as Chairman Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and his nephew who is a son of the late Isiaka Adeleke, Tunji was appointed as chairman of the Local Government Service Commission while widow of the late Senator Adeleke, Adenike, was named Commissioner for Federal Matters.

A statement by the spokesperson to the governor, Olawale Rasheed, stated that the appointment of the new chairmen and vice chairmen of non-statutory boards take immediate effect.

Also, Dr. K. Others are Maruf Ishola for Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board, Funsho Ishola for the Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, Dr. Muyiwa Oladimeji for Health Insurance Agency, Ebenezer Adeniji for Art and Culture, Akanfe Atidade for the Housing Loans Board, Kolade Adeleke for the tourism board, and Sola Adewumi for Osun Internal Revenue Service.
