Governor Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa State, has been declared the winner of the state’s  governorship primary elections.

Governkr Bindow was declared winner by the Chairman of the primary elections committee, Tijanni Ahmed, having polled 193,656 votes at the conclusion of the primary elections late Sunday, in Yola, Adamawa State.

According to the results made available by the committee, the final results of the APC Governorship primary shows that Governor Bindow scored, 193,656, followed by Mahmood Halilu Ahmed Modi 15,738 and Nuhu Ribadu polled 8,364.

The primary had been followed by separate press conferences by both Mahmood Halilu and Nuhu Ribadu, calling on the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party to disregard the outcome of the primary as a charade and a mockery of democratic process.
