NGO ‘Global Peace Movement’ International (GPM) partnering with the ‘Road Transport Employers Association’ (RTEA) staged a brief late morning rally in Abuja in support of the Nigerian Police at the Force Headquarters.
Police authorities, represented by Commissioner Esa A. Ogbu, met with the few dozen organisers and demonstrators, also speaking briefly with the media.
The demonstration was peaceful, well-received by the police and was over by early afternoon.
