From Kenneth Udeh,  Abuja

Former secretary of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone F, Frank Orjihas, has said the performances of past senators of Abia North senatorial district are nowhere close to that of the incumbent senator, Orji Uzor Kalu.

The zone’s pioneer secretary enumerated the various accomplishments of the Abia lawmaker in the senatorial district since 2019.

According to him, Kalu, who chairs the 10th Senate Committee on Privatisation, has continued to replicate the same leadership prowess of his time as governor of Abia State which earned him the moniker, action governor.

While mentioning roads, schools, boreholes construction, including bills and motions, Orjihas commended Kalu for attracting so many projects to his constituency.

He said: “In terms of infrastructure developments within the Abia North senatorial district, the senator has attracted a series of projects and has obviously lived up to the expectations of the genuine people of Abia North.”

Orjihas also disclosed that the student body would soon commence a comprehensive project tour of the projects attracted by the senator in Abia North.

“Sooner or later, we shall begin to visit some of his landmark projects within Abia North and will also reel out some of the educational and other landmark projects he has executed so far as a senator,” Orjihas said.

While commending his efforts and achievements, he also urged Kalu not to relent but rather remain steadfast by shunning any form of political distraction that may deter him from giving the people of Abia North their dividends of democracy as he has always done.
