A total 133 candidates will be battling for the 13 available National Assembly seats in Delta State for next year’s election.
This followed the publication of final names of candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to the list sighted by our correspondent in Asaba on Tuesday, 16 political parties are fielding candidates for National Assembly seats which include three Senate seats and 10 House of Representatives seats.
The parties include People’s Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressive Congress (APC), Social Democratic Party (SDP), New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and Labour Party.
Others are Accord, AA, ADC, APM, APP, NRM, PRP, YPP, ZLP and ADP.
Five of the political parties are fielding candidates in the three senatorial seat elections and the 10 House of Representatives seat elections.
