  A total number of 741 Batch A Stream 1 of 2022 Corps Members passed out in Kebbi State while six got an extension of service for various offences contravened the National Youths Service Corps bye- laws.

  The Kebbi State NYSC state Coordinator,Mrs Agatha Okolo Banki conformed this during the passing out ceremony of the batch held at Secretariat of the scheme,Birnin Kebbi.

While addressing the outgone Corps members, Banki who congratulated them, charged them to effectively put into practice, all the skills they have acquired during their one-year national service.

     “NYSC has not only given you platforms to acquire loans, such as BOI, CBN, NYSC foundation, etc, to get you established, but it has also, given you abundant knowledge which supersedes wealth,” She said, as she encouraged them to utilize the gains of the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development”.

The State Coordinator commended their dedication, doggedness, and immense contribution to the development of the State, especially in the educational and health sectors. 

    She further called on them not to take exiting the NYSC Scheme, as an end to their service to the nation but rather, as the opening of a new chapter of more positive contributions to our great nation Nigeria.

Banki,  charged them to shun all shades of deviant characters. And advised those who will be participating in the forthcoming elections, to be apolitical and be guided by the rules of INEC.

    She said: ” I took over the mantle of leadership in the State barely a month ago and for this reason, I find it so difficult to say goodbye to you so soon Banki  said as she prayed to God to take them safely to their various destinations.
