Sponsor of JOF U13 football Championship has expressed delight over the 2023 edition which kicked off recently at Abalti Barracks Sports Arena, Surulere.
The annual tourney whose maiden edition was held four years ago, saw Wazbak Babes of Mainland and Sparrow Boys of Bariga display good football artistry to the delight of fans and other spectators that thronged the sports complex.
It was recorded that Wazbak Babes defeated Sparrow Boys 3-0 to send a warning signal to foes jostling for the premier price.
In Reaction to this, Director, Strategic Support Services, JOF Nigeria Limited, Adeyinka Adetunji alongside Dayo Fagboyegun, an Executive Director of the firm expressed satisfaction over the duel and vowed to keep sponsoring the championship till further notice.
The duo further enjoined participating teams to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship while aiming for glory. In a similar vein, organiser, Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association (LASGSA), disclosed that all matches will be well officiated till the curtain falls on the soccer fiesta.
